December 5th: Twin City Santa's Miracle on 5th Street
Twin City Santa‘s annual Miracle on 5th Street Christmas party serves as a semi-formal event for young professionals in the Triad to collect holiday toys to be donated to the children of the community through the Salvation Army‘s annual Toy Drive.
The Garage presents amazing live music from The Rubber Band for 2014’s party! In addition to the live music, your ticket and your donated gift (minimum $20 value please) will provide you complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks along with light hors d’ouerves throughout the night. A cash bar will also be available.
Admission for Miracle on 5th Street will be an event ticket for $20 in advance or $25 at the door, plus a new, unwrapped toy with a value of at least $20.00.
The 2014 Rural Hall Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, December 7th at 2:30 PM. It will begin at the intersection of Broad Street and Wall Street and end at Rural Hall Elementary School. The parade is enjoyed each year by numerous spectators and children and is a wonderful way to get in the Christmas spirit! Bring a chair or blanket and pick your spot on Broad Street and enjoy. Be sure to bring a bag to put your candy in! Our participants love to throw candy and goodies.
Also bring some canned goods! The Second Harvest Food Bank will be doing another canned food drive this year in conjunction with our parade. You can drop off canned goods at Town Hall prior to the parade or you can bring them with you the day of the parade.
