If Variety is to be believed, Will Ferrell could catch some serious heat for his new movie role. Rumor has it Will might be playing the beloved former President Ronald Regan with dementia. Did I mention it's supposed to be a comedy?
A description of the plot: "When Ronald Reagan falls into dementia at the start of his second term, an ambitious intern is tasked with convincing the Commander-In-Chief that he is an actor playing the President in a movie."
And hijinks ensue? Allegedly, Lena Dunham and John Cho have already taken part in a live reading of the script.
Will is no newbie when it comes to playing Presidents. His George W Bush is still noted as one of his best impressions from his SNL days.
Are we still on the bathroom thing? Okay, just checking.
Presidential candidate Donald Trump said Caitlyn Jenner (formally Bruce Jenner) was welcome to use any restroom she wanted to at one of his buildings.
So she went to the bathroom and made a video about it.
In the Facebook video Caitlyn Jenner explained her wonderful bathroom experience. "Thank you, Donald, really appreciate it. And by the way, Ted [Cruz], nobody got molested!"
This bizarre video stems from transgender bathroom laws in states like North Carolina. The law says you must you the bathroom that conforms to your birth gender. Many businesses say they absolutely will not enforce such a measure by discriminating against customers but they will continue to make sure safety is a top priority for everyone.
Snapchat filters are one of the signature pieces of the social network, but now one of them is part of a lawsuit.
The filter of concern is the one that shows how fast you are going.
(Photo: Entercom Staff)
It's fun when someone Snaps from an airplane and they're going 500+ miles per hour! But now a teen allegedly got into a car accident because they were trying to post a really high speed on Snapchat.
The lawsuit suggests that Snapchat should have known that people would drive too fast just to show a high speed. That's a big leap. Couldn't you just as easily snap a photo of the speedometer while you were driving that fast? Wouldn't that make the car manufacturer liable?
Don't get me wrong - I absolutely believe that people probably try and drive fast to get Snapchat to show the speed, but I don't think Snapchat is at fault for that.
In case the theatrical version wasn't long enough for you, the R-Rated home release of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will make you very happy. It's going to be 181 minutes, which clocks in at just above 3 hours. It's also going to be a little more violent, hence the R-Rating.
I don't mind when they make movies for home viewing that long, but let's keep the theater versions at around 2 hours. I like to spend $28 on a giant soda, and I know you won't pause the movie just for me to go to the bathroom.
Beyonce's new album Lemonade has been trending all week. It feels like a very well crafted storyline to sell albums, and we love a good story don't we?
In case you've missed it all, the album re-introduced a story about a time that Jay Z cheated on Beyonce with someone nicknamed "Becky with the good hair." Here are some of the best Tweets that have come from it. Heads up - Some NSFW language.
Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland and Delaware all voted for Trump over Cruz and Kasich yesterday, giving him an even bigger lead in the party’s delegate count.
But this post isn't about politics, it’s about Hollywood.
Several celebrities have come out saying if Donald is elected President, they will move out of the country. What will we do?
Girls star Lena Dunham now says she’ll move to Vancouver. “I can get my work done from there.”
Other stars who have pledged to relocate if Trump wins the White House include Miley Cyrus, Jon Stewart, Samuel L. Jackson and Cher.
If a celebrity endorsement matters to you in your voting process, which it shouldn't, Kerry Washington, Chris Brown, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Josh Groban, Demi Lovato, Common, America Ferrera, Jack Black, Susan Sarandon, Ben Stiller, Jennifer Lawrence, George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Sarah Silverman, Shakira, Richard Gere, Bette Midler and Louis C.K. have all publicly denounced Trump.
No word yet on if anyone on that list is house shopping in Canada in an effort to be Lena's neighbor.
This is not totally crazy. Mately, a subscription-based STD testing service, is planning to launch an Indiegogo campaign for a dating app. They want to change how we date online to include an STD status.
The idea is that members can privately share their STD test results with people who they meet on dating apps like Tinder.
The promo video below makes a good point, “When it comes to our sexual health, shouldn't we have information we can trust?"
In the video they describe the system as being perfect, but anyone with half a brain could find ways to cheat the system. Creepy, huh?
According to Prince's family, his Paisley Park Estate will be turned into a museum in Prince's memory. They spoke about how he was a very private person, but that he would have wanted his music remembered.
Prince’s longtime collaborator, Sheila E., confirmed the plan in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “We’re hoping to make Paisley what [Prince wanted] it to be. [He] was working on it being a museum,” she said. “He’s been gathering memorabilia and stuff from all the tours, like my drums and his motorcycle.”
Paisley Park reportedly has a recording studio, a private nightclub and a meditation space called the Galaxy Room. There’s also said to be “a lot of purple,” yet there’s much about the home that most people know nothing about. I wish I could go tour it right now - How cool would it be to see it untouched? Heck yeah I'm nosy! FOX5 Vegas - KVVU
